As a player, you can voluntarily exclude yourself from all on- & offline gambling in the Netherlands, by registering in Cruks (Central Register of Exclusion of Games of Chance). This register was created specifically to protect vulnerable players against themselves. In this blog you can read more about unsubscribing in the Netherlands and our neighboring countries.
If you want to be excluded at once from all legal gaming halls, gaming casinos and online gambling companies in the Netherlands, you can register via Cruks, our national register: www.cruksregister.nl. You can do this if you want to take a break from gambling, for example, or if you are no longer in control of your gambling.
You can choose to enroll from 6 months to 99 years. If you register, it means that you can immediately stop gambling at legal providers in the Netherlands for 6 months. A legal gambling website means that the gambling company has a license from the Kansspelautoriteit. You can recognize a gambling game with a license by the logo at the bottom of the website or app.
Want to know where you can gamble online in NL and which gambling websites are legal in the Netherlands? Then check out the Kansspelwijzer here.

Our neighboring countries all also have registries where you can register so you can no longer gamble there either. All websites are in the language spoken in the country. Use a translation page to avoid confusion.
In Germany, you can apply for a ban for at least 1 year but also indefinitely.
Termination can only be done through a form and is therefore not automatic.

In Belgium you can also apply for a ban. Here you apply for a ban for an unlimited period of time and you can also terminate the ban immediately. However, you must wait 3 months after the termination before it is implemented. More information from the Belgian Gaming Commission can be found here.
