Its never too late

15 June 2022 - People often say "it is never too late". In my experience, it is. I am a man of around 40 and, without knowing it, I was seized by my gambling addiction. More and more my life revolved around gambling. My wife did not know about it and she was not allowed to access our joint accounts. Why not? Because then she would see my addiction. Despite being an energetic and positive person, I often felt alone when gambling. A slot machine in the pub was not the problem, but online gambling suddenly became my biggest enemy. Let's make that hit! If I go on now then..... If you had made a hit, you couldn't pay it off, and so on. All the gambling didn't do me any good, because if it did it wouldn't be an addiction. To come back to "It's never too late". I recently confessed everything to my wife, and we are now tackling it together. And now I finally have the feeling; I'm not alone anymore. I thank the employee of Loket Kansspel, who helped me to make certain choices. Because there is only one person who can do something about it and that is you! It is never too late!
