Test yourself
Do you want to know about your gambling behaviour?
Loket Kansspel has three tests that can give you an idea of your gambling behavior and whether you should be concerned.
We briefly explain them here so that you can see which test suits you best.
You can do all of them, but if you're short on time, you can also just do the short test. The shortest test is the CPGI/PGSI shortest test.
Gamalize
Play this game and you'll know what kind of player you are!
What your playing behavior is during a game, gives away a lot about the possible risks of this. By playing Gamalize you will find out what your tactics are and whether these tactics entail risks.
SOGS or 'South Oaks Gambling Screen'
This test takes approximately 5 minutes. You answer 16 questions about your playing behavior and immediately receive the result.
If you're questioning or experiencing problems with your gambling behavior, it's worth taking the SOGS (or 'South Oaks Gambling Screen') test. This can help you estimate your gambling behaviour.
Take the SOGS test and find out which category you belong to.
CPGI/PGSI
9 questions and you'll know what type of player you are.
CPGI/PGSI stands for Canadian Problem Gambling index/Problem Gambling Severity Index. People who participate in games of chance can be broadly divided into three categories;
The recreational player
For the recreational player, gambling is a fun leisure activity, he or she has total control over gambling and can stop whenever he or she wants. The risk player
The risk player does not always have control over his or her gambling behavior and may already have (starting) problems. The problem player
The problem player has major problems, possibly in multiple life areas, and no longer has control over his or her gambling.
Take the CPGI/PGSI test and find out which category you belong to.
